01 — Origin
In Bhaktapur, time has always been an ingredient.
For generations, Bhaktapur has transformed the simple into the extraordinary through patience, fermentation and the hand of the craftsman.
Juju Dhau — the celebrated “King of Yogurt” — became part of the city’s identity because it could not be rushed. Temperature, timing and judgement shaped its character.
JUJU coffee follows the same philosophy. Our rarest coffee is selected in tiny lots, carefully fermented to reveal what is hidden within the cherry, and roasted with meticulous attention by a native of Bhaktapur.
The roaster’s task is not to impose flavour, but to uncover what the farmer, the mountain, the harvest and fermentation have already created.
Two different creations. One belief: the finest things cannot be hurried.
